Work Party – September 16th

Categories: Club News,Events

Good Hospice Weekend my fellow members.   I just wanted to mention that on Saturday September 16th (9 to noonish), we are having a work party day to lay the last of the North Habour rock and stone for 2023 and starting to add the dirt in.

Pull a few more curb stones along the south harbour between the clubhouse and garden to widen the roundabout.

Brayden is working on the flagpole base and I would like it installed and the cement poured the same day.   We also have a special granite plaque to install commemorating the history of the pole.

The mast rack has a few old masts on it that can be removed and we’ll figure out what to do with them as we ready the area for winter.

Our wood pile has grown so anyone needing some wood for their personal use, help yourself.  Im sure we’ll gain more over the winter.  The beavers are back.

Come out and support your club and get your work hours.  We’d rather have your physical support than your money.   It’s also binds us as a social working club.   Thank you in advance for your continued support.

Yours Aye
